1980s Navajo Bisti weaving with a saturated red field and a bold, graphic composition. The design features a wide stepped geometric border enclosing a secondary border of spiral and angular motifs, framing a vertical central medallion rendered in ivory, gray, and black. Flanking rosette elements punctuate the interior field, creating a strong sense of symmetry and balance. Woven with processed wool using natural wool colors and red aniline dye.
